A rose is a flower with such visual and fragrant beauty. My simple purchase of a single rose was a treat for myself last week. Found at the grocery store it was inexpensive yet its beauty took my breath away and made me smile. Once home, the stem found a quaint home in a small jelly jar.
One of this year's personal goals is to learn how to take better photos and learn how the camera really works. I've been taking some DIY photography lessons from Sarah at A Beach Cottage as well as Donna of Funky Junk Interiors, so you will get to witness, my hopeful, progression. What better item to practice on than a rose?
More than any other flower, the rose have long been a source of fascination and inspiration for cultures around the world. The rose has captivated and enchanted man's imaginations. Poets and writers from different culture have been inspired by the beauty and fragrance of the rose, the association of the rose with beauty, romance and perfection dates back to some of the earliest societies and continues to this day. ~ MM del Rosario
A single rose can be my garden, a single friend my world.
